Ka Fung has successfully obtained International Freight Forwarding license in Shenzhen under CEPA mechanism in June 2004 under the name of "Shenzhen Jia Feng Shipping Co. Ltd.", which is fully owned by this company. Hence freight settlement, cargo canvassing, contracting with carriers and issuing of House bill of lading are legitimately preformed in China.
Container trucking
Service scope of the International Freight Forwarding License covers container trucking and short distance transportation. As operating license has been approved by Beijing Ministry of Communications for service in Shenzhen, a team of 20 tractors and chassis have been in service and under our own management in providing local haulage effectively as well as 2 gen sets for reefer container. Self managed container depot that gives flexibility in container storage and arrangement of container shifting. In order to ensure service quality, GPS monitoring system has been installed to each tractor, thus real time monitoring can be carried out.
Shenzhen port have been proven to be the most successful container terminal in Southern China, by drastically increasing container through put within few years. Expansion work has been under construction for the compliance of numbers of container growth. Trucking service is a must to the customers who increasingly relies on Shenzhen port for import and export. A team of 20 tractors with complement of stringent sub-contractors is providing quality and reliable services to customers located in Shenzhen, Dongguan and vicinities up to Shenzhen port.
Feedering Service
Service agreements are entered with feeder operators in Pearl River Delta area for space guarantee to stablise service commitment to clients. Most of the feedering services are on daily basis except those Customs houses closed on Sunday.
Feedering service
between HongKong and SPRD has been well developed to quite mature level, while further development of services to Shenzhen ports are gradually materialized. Customers have more option to adjust transportation routing either to HongKong or Shenzhen. Such services are closely monitored and supervised by Ka Fung 14 representative offices to meet customers need.
BONDED WAREHOUSE
Zhuhai free trade zone, where bonded warehouse is located, has re-organised by join efforts from PENAVICO. It has been proven to be successful in inducing various investments to this free trade zone from overseas investors including USA, Europe and Asia.
To comply with the development, trucking service has been providing with restricted driving licenses for the purpose of picking up and delivery cargo to/from the free trade zone.
SERVICE QUALITY COMMITMENT
Port authorities both in Zhuhai and Zhongshan that extends to customs as well are backing up our services. Customs formalities performed by importer and exporter will be benefit by our close relationship with them.
Furthermore, our company has an agreement with PENAVICO, who is authorised to represent as the agents for foreign shipping lines and freight forwarders in China, that they can issue or counter sign bill of lading on behalf of various shipping lines or freight forwarders.
